A young autodidact artist with a curious mind. New to the art scene (well kind of) but with a creative background and design experience in the fashion industry. Fed up with ’that’ world and fast-paced consumerism is for sure not the future. Giving old abandoned things a new lifecycle is my focus. Deconstructing, ripping and tearing materials (of all sorts) apart to create collages and abstract visuals.
Go ‘shopping’ at the local landfill or where ever you go to find rubbish is basically all you need. A wise man once said: ”One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” is hopefully the quote for eternity. I find it more manageable to create with patina, wear and tear. There is so much more history and character in old used stuff.
